Located in Guayllabamba, instead of hot climate and fertile land, the house G1 is a composition of architecture and nature. An avocado tree height of 12 m (generator center or central node of origin) is the main character of the project. It is from this center generator where architecture emerges.
PLACE READING – PROJECT ORIGIN
The land, triangular in shape and with an area of ??5.054 m2, consists of a series of gardens and fruit trees. No tree was cut, the house was implanted so that they retain all the characters in this composition. The avocado tree, our generator is located at the rear end and the highest point of the terrain. Because of its shadow, it is not the presence of abundant vegetation around. It is for this reason that we place the house is in this space and decided to develop a project to pay tribute to this wise, to this important milestone landscape.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE – FORM
G1 The house is characterized by its clarity of language. In the longitudinal direction, a movement that serves as a backbone, runs throughout the residence dividing it in two and separating the “served spaces” (bedroom, living room, kitchen), the “service spaces” (bathrooms, closets, pantry, machines). Transversely instead an axis from the center generator passes through the entrance hall and ends at the inner garden, separate private areas, social areas.
All “served spaces” are part of the front facade. A mobile facade that opens and integrates the garden through a wooden deck, returning to the architecture of nature. This facade phone is powered by a structural modulation. 4.20 m modules allow us this opportunity, and to achieve a clear structure and facilitate construction. The shape is simply the result of the structure and arrangement of spaces according to their function. A sincere way that reflects what happens inside is expressed outwardly.
MATERIALS
A reinforced concrete structure, seen in many areas, along with white walls, wood and metal shutters on the deck, creating a combination that allows us to enrich the architecture and, together with the landscape and with the main character of the project, create an atmosphere of fellowship between architecture and nature.
